As part of an on-going effort to empower inspiring film makers in Kurdistan and to create a bridge between local artists and the international film community, Evini Films has conducted two hands-on film making workshops enrolling students from across Iraq. Sixty short films were produced and two nation-wide short film festivals were held, one following each workshop. Some of these films have been invited to various international festivals and have received prestigeous awards.
